Here's the design thinking process for the Villa de Rogue logo:

 

Empathize: 

The first step in the design thinking process is to empathize with the client and their needs. In this case, the client wanted a logo for their vacation rental business, Villa de Rogue. As designers, we need to understand the client's business goals, target audience, and brand personality to create a logo that represents them accurately.

 

Define:

Once we understand the client's needs, we need to define the problem and the design challenge. For Villa de Rogue, the challenge was to create a logo that conveys a sense of luxury and relaxation, while also representing the brand's name and identity.

 

Ideate: 

The ideation phase involves brainstorming and generating multiple ideas and concepts for the logo. In this case, we started with the name "Villa de Rogue" and the concept of a rogue flower, which led us to explore incorporating the color red into the design. We also wanted to convey a vacation vibe, so we thought of adding a coconut tree to the logo. Finally, we came up with the idea of using an inverted "V" to represent a roof or a mountain, which ties in with the idea of a villa and vacation.

 

Prototype: 

After ideating and generating multiple ideas, we create prototypes of the most promising concepts. We created sketches and digital mockups of the logo, experimenting with different colors, fonts, and layouts.

 

Test:

The testing phase involves getting feedback from the client and potential users to refine the logo design. We presented the prototypes to the client, who provided feedback on which concepts they liked best. We also tested the designs with potential customers to see which ones resonated with them the most.

 

Implement: 

Finally, we implement the chosen logo design, making any necessary revisions based on feedback. In this case, we added an illustration of a big villa to give a clear sense of the client's business and made sure that the overall look was clean, premium, and simple, as per the client's specifications.
